Ollie’s Hot Honey Fried Halloumi
The perfect addition to a mezze platter, a great late-night snack or the most delicious sandwich filler. This might be a simple recipe but it packs a lot of flavour!
Ingredients:
320g halloumi, cut into slices
Olive oil
1 tsp Aioli Red Chilli
1tsp honey
Half a lemon
Method:
1. Heat a frying pan over medium and add a splash of olive oil. Once the pan's hot, fry the halloumi slices until crisp and golden on both sides. Remove from the pan to a platter.
2. Turn the heat to low and add 1 tsp of Aioli Red Chilli and 1 tsp of honey. Stir together to combine and cook out for 1 minute before squeezing the juice of half a lemon in.
3. Pour the hot honey sauce over the halloumi and serve.
